BookClub

Tentative: Saturday, September 21st at WowBooza Mediterranean Stretchy Ice Cream Shop (1630 Pleasant Hill Rd #170, Duluth, GA 30096)

We will start off our book club with Yasmin Mogahed’s Reclaim your Heart. With a rating of 4.9 by approximately 2000 reviewers, we anticipate an exciting read and a lively discussion. This is a great book for anyone who has faced a loss or is going through a particularly difficult time in their lives.  You do not have to read the book in order to attend and engage in the discussion, however, it is highly recommended as it is a very insightful book.

Since this book packs a punch, we will discuss the following topics (covered from pages 17 to 106) during the first meetup: attachments, love, hardships. Next meeting, we will discuss the second half of the book, which covers the topics of relationship with the Creator, women’s status, ummah, and poetry.

“Reclaim your Heart” is available on Amazon on the link below.
